A doll with bun hair sits relaxing as she "applies" make-up to her face. Rosey coloring is present on her knees, toes, cheeks, ears, and lips. A red crayon is held up to her lips giving the impression of lipstick. The doll is trying to appear more grown-up, although she has failed in doing so because of her messy application. This piece is a humorous retelling of when a child imitates the adults in their life by playing dress-up.
