A merry-go-round of different colors sits invitingly behind a dark blue figure. The figure has cotton balls cascading down his back, taking up the space around him. The same cotton balls can be seen at the top of the merry-go-round almost as if falling from the top platform. The figure is hunched over with his hands holding his head up and knees drawn close to his body. He does not take note of the cotton balls around his feet. The merry-go-round is not moving behind the figure, although has the capability to do so. This piece alludes to the magic of childhood dulling as one grows. The figure can, in fact, ride on the merry-go-round and yet knows the magic they once felt riding it has since diminished with time.
